No one was injured Tuesday in a freak accident in West Akron. Fire Capt. Mark Oziomek said Barberton Tree Co. was cutting a tree at 153 S. Pershing Ave. when a sub-contractor's crane lost its balance in the wind and fell back, sending the lumber crashing through the roof of the house.
